The aerobics team of our university won a gold, two silvers and the best team award in the National Cheerleading League Match and Chinese Cheerleading Star Championship Finals held in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province on December 14th-16th.
The match held by the General Administration of Sport of China (GASC) and the Federation of University Sports of China set 4 events and was taken part by 148 colleges and universities, more than 3200 athletes in total. Luo Chaoyi, the director of Gymnastics Sports Management Center of GASC, visited the site.
After two days of intense competition, beating several sports colleges with clever choreography and perfect dancing skills, our school’s aerobics team won the free cheerleading dance 1st prize, set hip-hop dance 2nd prize, set cheerleading dance 2nd prize and set jazz dance 4th prize. The coach of our college’s aerobics team, Mr. Li Jin, won the title of “Outstanding Couch”.
