报告题目：Rogue waves （畸形波）and interaction in nonlinear physical models
摘要: In this talk, we firstly introduce the recent development about rogue waves (also called freak waves, giant waves, etc.) in some important branches of nonlinear science such as nonlinear optics, Bose-Einstein condensates, and finance. We then discuss the time-modulated rogue waves and their interactions of the cubic nonlinear Schrodinger equation with varying potential and nonlinearity, higher-dimensional Gross-Pitaevskii equation with varying potential and nonlinearity, and time-modulated discrete rogue waves of discrete Gross-Pitaevskii equation with varying potential and nonlinearity, in particular, we also simply consider financial rogue waves. Finally, some conclusions and discussions are given.

报告人简介：中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院副研究员, 加拿大 British Columbia大学数学系做PIMS博士后. 曾访问香港城市大学、加拿大Western Ontario大学、香港大学和意大利国际理论物理中心. 曾获得首届中国科学院卢嘉锡青年人才奖、第七届全国优秀博士学位论文奖和第三届关肇直青年研究奖；在国内外专业刊物发表学术论文100余篇，出版专著一部。
