A numerical study of the 3-periodic wave solutions to KdV-type

报告摘要:

  In this talk, we will show a numerical process to calculate the three-periodic wave solutions to several KdV-type equations:  the KdV equation, the SK equation, the Boussinesq equation, the Ito equation, the Hietarinta equation and the KP equation.  The process  is mainly based on the direct method of calculating multi-periodic wave solutions proposed by Akira Nakamura. Some detailed numerical examples are given to show the existence of the three-periodic wave solutions numerically.

报告人简介:

  张英楠,南京师范大学数学科学学院副教授,硕士生导师。主要从事可积离散化与非线性波动方程数值计算方向的研究工作,主持国家自然科学基金青年项目1项、参与多项面上项目的研究。在国际上有重要影响力的计算数学和非线性科学类学术期刊J.Comput.Phys., J.Phys.ANonlinearity, Phys.D, Science China Math., Numer.Algorithms, Phys.Lett.A等发表SCI论文二十余篇。
